1203 Increased horizontal cell division and suppressed cell differentiation of pigmented basal keratinocytes in senile lentigo

چکیده

Senile lentigo (SL) is a common hyperpigmented disorder that typically develops in chronically sun-exposed skin. It already known the accumulation of melanosomes keratinocytes (KCs) caused by activated melanocytes and delayed turnover accompanied aberrant epidermal differentiation. Some histological analyses show hyperplasia composed pigmented KCs SL. However, these mechanisms SL have been poorly understood. With age, epidermis normal skin has reported to hypoplasia due increased ratio asymmetric cell division basal (Nature. 2019 568:344-350). In this study, we hypothesized impaired balance symmetry might be involved formation, investigated orientation axis differentiation state compared To observe KCs, frozen sections (n=4) (n=5) were stained with anti-survivin antibody, measured angle against basement membrane. addition, anti-keratin 14, keratin 10 collagen XVII antibodies evaluate skin, horizontal among 0-30 degrees multilayered on membrane 14 XVII. Furthermore, immunostaining Fitzpatrick photo type V showed XVII-positive KCs. Our results suggested symmetric prevented from differentiation, resulting formation undifferentiated Further study will provide fundamental basis understand pathogenesis develop cosmetics medicines.

Surface microscopy of pigmented basal cell carcinoma.

OBJECTIVES To describe the relevant morphologic features and to create a simple diagnostic method for pigmented basal cell carcinoma (BCC) using in vivo cutaneous surface microscopy (ie, dermoscopy, dermatoscopy, or oil epiluminescence microscopy). DESIGN Pigmented skin lesions were photographed in vivo using immersion oil (surface microscopy). All pigmented skin lesions were excised and revi...

Value of CD10 Expression in Differentiating Cutaneous Basal from Squamous Cell Carcinomas and Basal Cell Carcinoma from Trichoepithelioma

Background: In addition to the well-defined histological criteria for squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and basal cell carcinoma (BCC), immunohistochemical techniques can be used in difficult cases for their differentiation. As differential diagnosis between trichoepithelioma (TE) and BCC is sometimes difficult for the clinician and the pathologist, CD10 may be a useful marker for definite diagnosi...

Comparison of COX2 expression in radiation induced basal cell carcinoma and non-radiation induced basal cell carcinoma

Background: Radiation-induced basal cell carcinoma (BCC) can be multiple, large, and recurring, which complicates its treatment in some cases. According to reports on the role of cyclooxygenase 2 (COX2) inhibitors in the treatment or prevention of non-melanoma skin cancers and considering the fact that COX2 expression has not been evaluated in radiation-in...

DIFFERENTIATION BETWEEN MORPHOLOGICALLY AGGRESSIVE AND NON-AGGRESSIVE BASAL CELL CARCINOMA BY AgNOR STAINING

Argyrophilic staining of nucleolar organizer regions (AgNOR) has been considered to be useful in the diagnosis and prognostic evaluation of different cutaneous tumors. In order to evaluate the role of the AgNOR technique in discriminating aggressive from non-aggressive basal cell carcinoma (BCC), paraffin-embedded histologic sections from 30 cases of aggressive BCC (BCC2) and 30 cases of n...
